Rooted in Land, Story, and Sacred Becoming

Shimmering Ridge Sanctuary was born from a deep longing for spaces that feel both grounded and sacred — places where healing is not separated from nature, beauty, creativity, rest, or authentic human connection.

Nestled in the mountains of North Georgia, The Ridge is woven with forest paths, gardens, stone, water, and quiet moments of reflection. Over time, it has become more than a home. It has become a living sanctuary — a place for restoration, remembrance, gathering, and return.

My own journey into this work has been shaped by motherhood, healing, grief, growth, spiritual practice, creativity, and a lifelong relationship with the natural world. As an artist, gardener, priestess, and guide, I believe sacredness is often found not in escaping life, but in returning more deeply to it.

Here, retreats and gatherings are intentionally curated to foster meaningful connection — to self, to nature, and to the quiet wisdom that so often gets lost beneath the noise of everyday life.

The Woman Behind The Ridge

As the founder and keeper of Shimmering Ridge Sanctuary, my work is deeply rooted in the belief that healing and sacredness are not separate from everyday life, but woven through it.

Over the years, my path has carried me through motherhood, grief, creativity, spiritual practice, healing, and continual becoming. I am an artist, gardener, priestess, teacher, and lifelong student of both the natural world and the inner landscape of the human spirit. Much of what I offer here has been shaped not only through study and experience, but through living — through seasons of loss and renewal, quiet transformation, and the slow remembering of who I was always meant to be.

The Ridge itself has become part of that journey. Its forests, pathways, gardens, stones, and shifting light have taught me as much as any book or formal training ever could. Here, I create retreats and gatherings designed to feel intentional, grounded, restorative, and deeply human — spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, with nature, and with the quiet wisdom that often waits beneath the surface of everyday life.

My hope is that those who arrive here feel welcomed not into perfection, but into presence. Into beauty that is alive, evolving, and real. Into a sanctuary that invites both rest and remembrance.
